Spring in the Brazos Valley brings not only warmer weather and crawfish, but a fresh crop of local businesses and expanded favorites. From the rebirth of a Northgate legend to new Detroit-style pizzas in Downtown Bryan, there’s plenty to explore this season.

This is your guide to the newest spots to visit in Bryan-College Station this Spring.

Activities & Nightlife

Aggieland’s entertainment scene is evolving with a mix of nostalgic returns and sophisticated new hangouts.

  • Harry’s Northgate – A name that needs no introduction in BCS. Its new location is right on Northgate (taking over the former Shiner Park space), this country bar and dance hall brings back the high-energy DJ nights and live country music that made it a local legend.
  • VICE – Joining the thriving nightlife cluster in Downtown Bryan, VICE offers a refreshed experience in the former Halo Bar space. It features a downstairs hookah lounge and an upstairs dance floor with VIP booths and a rotating lineup of DJs.
  • The Back Nine Golf – Opening on July 20th, this is the most accurate golf simulator in College Station. They are open 24/7 and offer free demos for those looking to sign up for a membership. Bring your own food and drinks with friends, sign up for a corporate retreat, or go solo for tee time.

New Restaurants & Tacos

From quick-service favorites to 24/7 taco cravings, the local dining landscape is growing.

  • BFX Tacos – Taking over the former La Familia location on Barron Road, BFX Tacos is officially open and serving up fresh flavors in a familiar neighborhood spot.

  • The Patty Daddy – Located near campus on University, this spot is a dream for burger lovers. They specialize in “smashed” patties, with highlights like the four-patty “Big Daddy” and the Uncrustable Double Cheese Burger for those feeling adventurous.

Sips & Spirits

Whether you’re a craft beer enthusiast or a cocktail aficionado, these new downtown additions are a must-visit for your next night out.
